Pharrell Williams
Singer, songwriter, rapper, producer, designer and philanthropist Pharrell Williams is adding another title to his list: Louis Vuitton's men's creative director.
Fashion Experience
Williams collaborated with LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) in the early aughts onsunglasses and jewelry. The sunglasses collection, called Millionaire, remains so popular thatshades are listed at more than double their original price on resale sites, and Abloh — a friendof Williams — reissued the line in 2018.
Creations
Williams co-founded the influential streetwear label Billionaire Boys Club in 2003 (alongsideJapanese designer Nigo, who is now the artistic director of Kenzo, which is also owned byLVMH). During the pandemic, he helped create a portable cutlery set in the hopes of limitingsingle-use plastics in outdoor dining. And he's also launched Humanrace, a skincare andwellness company.
Collaborations
Beyond that, Williams had a popular sneaker collaboration with Chanel in 2017 (in which hebecame the first man to appear in a Chanel ad) and a unisex clothing collection with KarlLagerfeld in 2019. He's also worked with Moncler, Adidas Originals and Tiffany & Company.

Movies and Television
Throughout his music career, Pharrell stared as a coach on The Voice as well as composed for multiple movies. He composed for Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2, Hidden Figures, and Despicable Me 3. He also stared as himself in A Man Named Scott and The Simpsons. His other acting endeavors include narration for The Grinch and Alfonso from Sing 2.
Awards
Pharrell has a lot to show for his years in music. He has received several nominations for songs such as “Blurred Lines” and “Happy”. Pharrell was awarded 2014 International Artist of the Year at the BBC Music Awards as well as 2014 Best Male R&B/Pop Artist at the BET Awards. His song “Blurred Lines” with artist Robin Thick won in 2014 for Top Hot 100 Song at the Billboard Music Awards, and “Drop It Like It’s Hot” featuring Snoop Dogg won Hot Rap Track in 2015 at the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Awards. Pharrell has won 13 Grammy’s his last being Producer of the Year, Non-Classical for Self in 2019.
Paris Fashion Week 2023
Williams' first collection will be revealed in June during Men's Fashion Week in Paris. But he's no stranger to the brand.
